Emakina@DMF: a customer-friendly presence

Author: Alex Papanastassiou

Digital Marketing First once more was an exciting get-together of interactive marketers in the Belgian market. For this 8th edition, the organisers recorded over 3,700 visitors, a new high.

And Emakina did not miss the rendez-vous to connect with customers and colleagues, prospects, press and students.

As a fast growing organisation, Emakina wanted to find a new and customer-friendly way to stress its quality relationships with its clients. So together with the organisation of DMF, we imagined a different participation strategy for the group.

Besides a dynamic presence of Emakina’s Ghent based agency the Reference with a popular (and populated) stand, Emakina was the sponsor and host of the Advertising Lounge. Here, advertisers and guests stopped by for a refreshment, a tasty meal and a relaxed (or serious) business chat with a range of Emakina experts.

Emakina also shared insights and ideas in sold-out presentations. With a presentation for students and one for professionals, Emakina shared what makes true interactive digital campaigns work. Instead of making this a story of Emakina alone, several client cases were shown together with the client. They took part in explaining the challenges and approach. Brice Le Blévennec stressed that not awards or having fun with toys and technology is at the heart of our work. Emakina is there to contribute to the business succes of its customers. The five cases that were shared, highlighted this point.

Nevertheless, at the closing of the DMF, Emakina and Audi were happy to take home the MIXX AWARD at the awards ceremony ending the fair, for the Audi A3 Berline campaign and its game-in-campaign!

The Segway-like transporters used by the Emakina hostesses in bright orange blouses were another eyecatcher at the event. These Charming Emakina ambassadors showed that at Emakina, we are mobile-ready in more then one way, and invited people to come over to the lounge area. This made DMF for Emakina even more interactive and fun.

Powered by lots of interesting contacts and happy times, we can clearly say we were on a roll!
