Emakina builds Swift Community

Emakina has helped SWIFT develop swiftcommunity.net, a unique space on the web where members of the financial services industry can share ideas and documents, debate industry topics and network. This project is a new showcase of our expertise in Enterprise 2.0. Launched at SWIFT’s annual conference and exhibition, Sibos, the Swiftcommunity.net platform massively use “Web 2.0” technologies and the philosophy of user-generated content. Users can set up their own community to bring together people with similar interests in a specific business area or region. In the pipeline for 2008 are several new functionalities, such as business networking capabilities, virtual meetings, polling, messaging capabilities, web- and podcasting.
